The classics are all there, from bibimbap and bulgogi to double-fried chicken, but there “always seems to be something pleasantly surprising on the menu” – and “great cocktails too!”. The outfit has clearly survived the 2019 departure of its high-profile founder, the Korean-American TV chef Judy Joo, without missing a beat. She now fronts the Seoul Bird fried-chicken outlets in Westfield Shepherd’s Bush and Canary Wharf.
