So news that Thomas Keller, the man behind New York’s Per Se and the French Laundry in California, is considering opening a new restaurant in the Big Apple is causing much excitement Stateside (via Eater).
The chef has given scant detail thus far apart from the teasing description that it is ‘an historic project’. Keller’s restaurants have practically become bywords for the very best in American cooking. Celebrations of Per Se’s 10th birthday earlier this year were somewhat muted, however, after a poor health inspection received widespread press coverage.
