"Lovely setting for a hotel, close by the old bridge over Austwick Beck in the beautiful but quiet village of Austwick. Great place to explore the stunning local scenery and nearby villages. The food is ambitious and the execution doesn't quite match the level of ambition. Dishes are a bit dry (espcially mains) and somewhat disappointing, even if a high level of quality is aspired to. OK but not great. A really nice place to stay for a few nights, though."
