This “fabulous hotel with food to match” has developed into a North Yorkshire boutique powerhouse since Dave & Charlotte Reilly opened it in a converted Wensleydale school in 2007. Chef Dan Shotton has led the kitchen for six years, and a new kitchen garden was added in 2017, followed by a basement tasting room in the old cellar last year.
