“Outstanding pizza that’s super-light and oozing Italian style” (“not usually a pizza fan but really enjoyed the food”) has made the name of this “buzzing and hilarious” but also “good- value” Neapolitan joint. It’s now part of a five-strong chain, spanning two London outposts (the most recent in chi-chi Covent Garden), a newly refurbed Hove branch and this, the original, where “sitting outside to people watch is also great – it’s Brighton after all!”.

This popular Neapolitan-style pizza pie joint (born in 2015) now has three outlets in Brighton and Hove – plus a newer one in King’s Cross; solid ratings, if little in the way of feedback this year, but what there was reported the pizzas “excellent” (they do pizzas of the month, and also run a pizzaiolo competition).

“Authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas cooked in a proper wood-fired oven” have proved a hit for this operation with three outlets in Brighton & Hove. (Their appeal extends further than the city limits, with a new branch at King’s Cross in London).

A “great local pizza restaurant with outposts in Brighton and Hove” delivering “truly authentic” Neapolitan-style pies and that's “great value, especially for kids (they get a free gelato!)”. This third branch in North Laine opened in 2018, and they’ve also recently doubled up their London presence, with a new outlet in Shoreditch Boxpark joining their existing Croydon outpost.

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
