Harden's says
This tiny place on the Brighton-Hove border serves a "spice-driven menu" cooked by an Ecuadorean chef.
Harden's survey result
Summary
This “spectacular little place” (just 20 seats) occupies a former takeaway near the Brighton-Hove border; its “excellent menu, changed weekly”, offers an unusual “mash-up of South American and Indian cooking” courtesy of chef-owners Kanthi Thamma, who is Indian, and Diego Ricaurte, an Ecuadorian. The spice-driven venture began as a series of pop-ups, and its new bricks-and-mortar incarnation is a “a real find” by all accounts.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
