Harden's says
D&D London's fist Bristol opening will be a "modern take on a Grand Café, serving Mittel-European dishes"; opening 2 October in Cabot Circus.
Harden's survey result
Summary
Maybe D&D London’s operations in the capital could take a leaf out of their two-year-old Bristol cousin: a ‘modern take on a Grand Café’ which occupies the Grade I listed Quakers Friars building. All reports are upbeat: “I was very pleasantly surprised…” – an “excellent German-themed restaurant with super schnitzels and decent wine” and with “very efficient service” too.
Summary
D&D London's Bristol debut opened in October 2020 aiming for a ‘modern take on a Grand Café, serving Mittel-European dishes’ and occupying a glam-looking space in the Grade I listed Quakers Friars building. On the basis of our limited, good-to-middling initial feedback, it looks worth a try.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
