Adebola Adeshina’s dining operation in the surroundings of THe Fitzwilliam Arms didn’t attract a huge volume of feedback this year for this thatched pub, but all to the effect that it’s one of the brighter culinary sparks in these parts. “Amuse bouche was very well flavoured cod and salmon dish… the starter a perfectly cooked scallop, main pigeon cooked exactly as it should be, plus gravy with extraordinary depth of flavour…”.
