Harden's says
A second branch of the Glasgow South East Asian restaurant.
Harden's survey result
Summary
“Once you get over the shopping mall outside” – namely the upmarket new St James Quarter development – this is “a great place”: the sibling (est. 2022) to an Glasgow-based South-East Asian restaurant, and offering “fun fusion cooking” (“try the corn dogs and red curry”); “watch out” though – “it’s rammed each evening”.
Summary
A second branch of Glasgow’s South East Asian restaurant in the swanky new St James Quarter development, which opened in March 2022. It opened too late in the year to generate any feedback in our annual diners’ poll but in April 2022 The Scotsman’s Gaby Soutar declared herself “very happy that Edinburgh has its own Ka Pao”, finding it “one of my favourite food premises in the building”.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
