For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

The Fox & Goose Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Superb Visited today to a quite exceptional and well priced experience. Six courses of stunning food. All were beautifully presented with amazing flavours. Chef is quite playful with the flavour combinations, so be prepared to be challenged. Highlight for both of us was the amazing beef accompanied by the most amazing roast potato I have ever eaten. Both desserts were delicious but very different. Toilets were up windy stairs, it is a beautiful listed building so constrained in what they can do. Staff are lovely if a little abbreviated in course description. Had hoped to meet chef but the place was full on a Tuesday lunchtime! We drove a round trip of nearly 200 miles, was it worth it? Goodness yes! "
"Still the best restaurant in North Suffolk. The very old premises can be difficult for those with mobility problems but otherwise it is a destination for that 'special occasion dinner'. The lunch is a steal!"
"This is local to us and it just seems to get better. The 2 or 3 course lunch menu has a good choice and the individual dishes are interesting and the quantities seem about right. Lots of nice touches such a a wild mushroom purée with the fillet steak. Although you quote wines as £24 a bottle I didn’t see any like that today, more like starting around £37. Overall a great lunch with really pleasant staff."
