Harden's survey result
Summary
“An ever-dependable gastropub in a delightful village north of Peterborough” – Will and Kelly Frankgate have run this attractively extended property for over 10 years now. It serves a menu of high-quality fare, supplemented by some “mostly Italian” dishes.
Summary
Will and Kelly Frankgate celebrate their tenth year at this attractively located and extended village gastropub in 2023. It only induced limited feedback again this year, but once again of the good all-round variety.
Summary
Will and Kelly Frankgate took over this village gastropub in 2013, and have since added a timber-framed garden room extension, which is one of the best of the numerous areas for dining and leads onto its outside dining area for the summer. Rated on more limited feedback last year.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Owner's description
The Blue Bell Glinton is an idyllic village pub dating back to the 18th century. The pub is run by Head Chef Will Frankgate and his wife Kelly and offers a cosy, old-world interior with decked out gnarled oak beams and crackly log fires.
Along with a main menu packed full with quality produce, we offer traditional Sunday lunches, light bites and dishes just for kids. Whether you choose to dine with us or are just looking for a nice relaxing drink, you'll receive the warmest of welcomes.
Will, Kelly and the team look forward to seeing you soon.
