Harden's survey result
Summary
“Great coffee and extremely moreish light snacks” is the simple-but-winning formula at this ethical and sustainable Scandi-style roastery that started life in Richmond six years ago and now has outlets scattered across some of central London’s foodie enclaves.
Summary
“The coffee is the best!”, according to fans of this “zen” Scandi-style café in Fitzrovia, from an ambitious ethical importer and roastery that has won a clutch of barista awards in the five years since it was founded (including Top Coffee House at the Harden’s London Restaurant Awards 2021). The shop offers “light snacks such as cinnamon rolls and cakes” – and “everything is good, not just the coffee”. Their original venture, in Richmond, moved into a new address in summer 2022, and they also have kiosks in Shoreditch, King’s Cross and Sloane Square.
Summary
“Simply top for coffee” (“not cheap but the best I’ve had in a while”) say fans of this “stylish” Scandi-vibe Fitzrovia outlet, which opened in 2019, a year after the original set up shop in Richmond. As well as the sustainably sourced brews, workshops (and all the kit available by mail), there is a small selection of light snacks (eggs, cinnamon rolls, cakes).
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
