Harden's says
ince 2015, Fatto a Mano have taken Brighton by storm. This summer 2022 newcomer is their first foray into the capital (well, if you leave out Croydon in 2020), occupying one of the glossy units near Google HQ in King’s Cross. Also coming to Shoreditch.
Harden's survey result
Summary
One minute’s walk from Google HQ, amidst the clean-lined new canyons north of King’s Cross, this is the year-old London outpost of Brighton & Hove’s well-regarded chain (whose unit in Shoreditch’s Boxpark is no longer in operation). Reports on the Brighton operations are all very upbeat, but this one has yet to spark much in the way of interest.
Summary
“No need to go to Naples!” – “for an exceptional pizza in Brighton”, head to one of the three branches of this “top chain”, which, as well as this location, operates in North Laine and Hove; “the huge and delicious pizzas arrive fast and are fresh-tasting and reasonably priced (with a good vegan choice too)”. Top Tip – “great for kids, who eat for free with an adult”.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
