Summary

In East Dulwich’s restaurant row, Vibushan Thirukumar launched this ‘community focused, sustainable restaurant’ in April 2023 – too late for feedback in our annual diners’ poll – inside the co-working and wellness hub Oru Space (which he co-founded with business partner Paul Nelmes in 2020). Named for his seaside home town back in Sri Lanka, its vegan and vegetarian cuisine is rooted in Tamil culture.

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
