A chamber in the vast new Raffles Hotel provides an elegant and stately home to this offshoot of a luxe Italian chain (with siblings as far flung as Hong Kong, Bodrum and Doha). It’s rated on limited and mixed feedback – fans say it’s “a great addition to London’s dining scene: a wonderful concept with a mix of fine dining, relaxed atmosphere and very good service”. Others, though that – notwithstanding “very good service and ambience” – it’s notably “overpriced” in terms of what arrives on the plate.
