Harden's says

In the basement below Yaatra in Old Westminster Fire Station, inspired by the decadent allure of 1930s Shanghai. It’s run by the same team as upstairs, presenting their take on “Indo-Chinese” cuisine, so you’ll find steamed ginger fish next to hot and spicy chicken.

“A new addition to the Old Westminster Fire Station in London” – this recent newcomer is found below Yaatra (see also) and is run by the same team as upstairs. “Interesting Indo-Chinese cuisine” – including many small plates – offsets a large menu of cocktails and teas, while the decor is themed in the mould of a “1930s Shanghai-style basement”.

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"Visited via a Travelzoo 3-course menu deal. All agreeable, but no dish excited me, or was exceptionally tasty or was something new, with the possible exception of the sorbets. Basically a good Indian/Chinese but of course at higher prices. "

"Had a meal here with a friend on a special deal. The starters of butterflied prawns and spring rolls were excellent and my sea bream main course was very tasty . I was also very pleasantly surprised to find that the fish had been filleted and the bones removed. The sorbets in the dessert were very refreshing but because they were so cold the different flavours did not stand out as much as I has expected."
