In the Old Westminster Fire Station, this “high-quality” two-year-old offers “interesting takes on Indian food”, “nicely positioned on the spectrum of refined but not too refined, with punchy flavours but not to the point of aggression”. The hardworking marketing team (so many emails!) is strong on offers which can deliver “really good value for such a top-class restaurant”. Top Menu Tip – “the superb kebab platter and Keralan turbot”.

This “no-expense-spared upmarket Indian restaurant” in Grade II listed Old Westminster Fire Station has impressed reporters with some “amazing and interesting dishes” in its first year. It was launched as “Atul Kochhar’s Mathura, which didn’t last long, but the new management has done some great marketing with customer deals”“I’d certainly go again”.

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"Yaatra was really very good at a first visit. Nicely positioned on the spectrum of refined but not too refined, punchy flavours but not to the point of aggression. My party were all delighted with their choices - e.g. the superb kebab platter and Keralan turbot - and eager to come back."
