Harden's survey result
Summary
A short walk from Sloane Street, this elegantly panelled Belgravia dining room is part of a luxurious five-star hotel. Perhaps because it’s tucked away in such an expensive ’hood, it doesn’t generate a huge volume of survey feedback, but such as there is says it successfully sets a superior standard of Italian cuisine.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Owner's description
Enjoy exceptional cuisine in a sophisticated setting at Italian Restaurant, il Pampero, which embodies Italian chic and vintage glamour. Head Chef, Angelo Algera, and his team deliver traditional flavour combinations from a seasonally changing menu, complemented with an impressive wine list and selection of inventive cocktails. Guests can expect the perfect fusion between authentic Italian recipes and techniques, and locally-sourced ingredients.
Marrying Italian hospitality with the Belgravian lifestyle, Tara Bernerd & Partners have created a bespoke design scheme that embraces informal luxury. Bold Vespa-green lacquers and rich velvets combine with soft leathers and heritage fabrics to create a warm and inviting vibe. While circular booths are set against the back and side walls, the focal point is the striking central bar where cocktails will be served and diners can embrace the Italian tradition of Aperitivo.
