Harden's says
TV chef Tom Kerridge has taken over the former Queen's Head pub in Tryon Street for the Chelsea branch of his Marlow-based concept, whose name is reflected in the meat-heavy menu. It may sound rough and ready, but you can expect a very smooth operation.
Harden's survey result
Summary
TV chef Tom Kerridge relaunched the former Queen’s Head pub between Sloane Avenue and the King’s Road in November 2023 as the Chelsea branch of his Marlow-based concept. The name is reflected by its menu of “top steaks alongside other simple pub food” and fans applaud “superbly cooked steak from the butcher’s counter that’s a real treat”. Even they, however, may note that it’s also an “expensive” indulgence and a worrying number of reports are very indifferent, saying “it’s fine for a quick burger”, but that “food, service and ambience here in no way justifies the extraordinary prices”.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
