Harden's says
Opened in March 2023, a new wine bar specialising in pasta cooked by a former River Café chef (Alex Owens). It occupies a railway arch opposite the entrance to Battersea Park and close to the new Battersea Power Station development. The other woman behind the new place is Emily Few Brown, who launched the catering company Spook almost ten years ago.
Harden's survey result
Summary
“This new spot under the railway arches by Battersea Power Station has some really good cooking” from ex-River Café chef, Alex Owens, to the extent that one early reporter thought it this year’s “top opening”. It helps too that it has a very attractive interior and “amazing service”, led by the other woman behind the new place: owner and CEO Emily Few Brown, who launched the catering company Spook almost ten years ago.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
