Harden's says

Restaurateur Sam Harrison's smart neighbourhood restaurant and bar is designed to anchor the new Brentford Project, a mixed-used development beside the River Brent, when it opens in July 2023. It follows the success of Sam's Riverside at the reopened Riverside Studios by Hammersmith Bridge. There will also be a Sam's Larder opposite.

“Just what the local area needed!” – Sam Harrison’s “newly opened outpost of Sam’s Riverside makes the most of a relaxing waterside setting as part of the substantial new residential developments” in downtown Brentford. But it’s “sufficiently separate to have its own identity and atmosphere”, and is “really buzzing” as “there’s nothing in the area serving food of this quality”: a selection of approachable but interesting brasserie fare. Top Tip – “good- value set lunch menu”.

Summary

Restaurateur Sam Harrison’s smart neighbourhood restaurant and bar is designed to help anchor the new Brentford Project – an upscale, mixed-use development beside the River Brent, open in summer 2023. It follows the success of Sam’s Riverside at the re-opened Riverside Studios by Hammersmith Bridge, although it doesn’t have the sweeping Thames -side vistas of the original. (There is also a Sam’s Larder opposite).

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

This place is a really enjoyable experience...

"This place is a really enjoyable experience. Food is great. Service immaculate. Yet the ambience lets it down. My Confit Duck Salad was delicious and one of the reasons I made a return visit. My Stone Bass was also delicious. So I will be going back. "
