Harden's survey result
Summary
A spin-off from Chelsea’s Wild Tavern, the DNA of owners George Bukhov-Weinstein & Ilya Demichev (who run the Goodman and Burger & Lobster chains) is evident at this late 2023 newcomer on one of Notting Hill’s main drags, on a site that was previously 202 (RIP). “Buzzy”, with a “sort of happening vibe”, it “looks amazing” but most reports consider the mix of raw bar, pasta and grilled surf ’n’ turf “overpriced” and “sounding better than it tastes”… “lovely to sit in, but wouldn’t hurry back”.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
