“Amongst the surging number of Filipino places, this is one to recommend!” – Ferdinand ‘Budgie’ Montoya brings his “upscale and creative Filipino food” to Mayfair’s Heddon Street in this new venture, which follows his Sarap try-outs in Dalston, Soho and Brixton. The dishes are “original and delicious” although it’s perhaps no surprise that they come at “eye-watering prices, if you’ve ever been to the Philippines” (and Filipino diners don’t always rate the cuisine as highly as non-natives). Top Tip – “memorable crispy stuffed pig’s trotter!”

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
