Harden's says
Chef and restaurateur Phil Howard is bringing his lockdown pasta delivery service permanent in November 2022, with chef Louis Korovilas believed to be in charge of the kitchen - it was originally to be known as Otto (after Howard's lockdown pasta business), but lost a legal battle with "an unnamed “existing business with a similar name"
Harden's survey result
Summary
“It seems unlikely to find such good food at such a touristy location”, but “the lovely homemade pasta” at Phil Howard and Louis Korovilas’s bright and efficient new pasta spot is “a revelation” – “very tasty Italian small plates at astonishingly reasonable prices for Piccadilly”, from a “focused menu of pastas and dessert”. (It was originally to be known as Otto – after Howard’s lockdown pasta business – but lost a legal battle with ‘an unnamed existing venture with a similar name’). BREAKING NEWS. In October 2023, a second 90-cover branch was announced to open in November 2023 in Covent Garden’s Henrietta Street.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
