Harden's says
Dylan Hunt brings his celeb-magnet brand to Mayfair, serving wagyu beef and truffles alongside more standard kebab staples. The Chigwell original entertains Essex royalty from Harry Kane to Rod Stewart, and visitors including the Gypsy King himself, Tyson Fury.
Harden's survey result
Summary
TOWIE comes to Mayfair at Dylan Hunt’s March 2023 newcomer: a spin-off from his Chigwell original notorious for its crowd of Essex royalty from Harry Kane to Rod Stewart, and visitors including the Gypsy King himself, Tyson Fury. It also imports its luxurious comfort food menu (‘let’s begin’, ‘the main event’, ‘a bit on the side’,…) to a prime spot on Piccadilly. Feedback is too limited for a rating but our first report is not encouraging: “unbelievably over-priced… only the briefest nod to Turkish cuisine… all in all, very disappointing”. There is also much outrage online at the restaurant’s unusual practice of presenting prices ex VAT (so, be prepared for them to whack 20% on your bill…)
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
