Harden's says
A permanently-moored big sister boat for the London Shell Co's moving vessel, with room for 40 covers plus some al fresco tables in summer and a private Captain's Table (expect lots of fishy / nautical jokes - their strapline is "have your hake and eat it") and a focus on British cooking, especially Cornish fish and seafood.

London Shell Co Restaurant Diner Reviews
"If you’re ever in the area and in need of a late-night bite, this spot is definitely worth checking out. Their service and food quality remain top-notch even at 2 AM! For more details on their menu, visit [https://mcdonadmenu.co.uk/."
"Certainly! Here’s a revised version of your experience along with a comment for you: --- **Revised Experience:** One of my standout experiences was a late-night visit to this spot. After a late-night emergency, I found myself craving food at 2 AM and was thrilled to discover this place open in the town center. I was pleasantly surprised to see the restaurant operating normally, complete with a friendly staff and a line of customers waiting. We quickly ordered our favorite Chicken McArabia sandwiches, which were served promptly. The meal was delicious, and the overall atmosphere and service were fantastic. **Comment:** If you’re ever in the area and in need of a late-night bite, this spot is definitely worth checking out. Their service and food quality remain top-notch even at 2 AM! For more details on their menu, visit [https://mcdonadmenu.co.uk/."
"We enjoyed the Oyster pairing menu, 3 oysters with 3 interesting drinks plus wonderful bread and chips with curry sauce. Taste of the sea by the canal."
Harden's survey result
Summary
“Very good seafood and the unusual setting of travelling along the canal as the swans glide by” is a winning formula, which has helped siblings Leah & Harry Lobek grow this business from a narrow boat (‘The Prince Regent’) on the Grand Union Canal to include a permanently docked barge in Paddington basin (‘The Grand Duchess’) and – since last year – a “local restaurant in lovely Swains Lane just by Hampstead Heath”, which is “also a very good fishmonger”. The odd meal includes “mixed results” – and seating on the boats can be “cramped” – but “prices are reasonable” and the best reports are of “delicious and simple roasted fish” and “amazing platters of cold dishes, from oysters to crab”. “Delightful staff” boost the vibe in all locations. Top Tip – in N6, there’s also a “huge choice of wines”.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
