Harden's says
Japanese and Mexican 'small plates' is the unusual offering from this Deansgate restaurant, which is open all day for a bewildering range of meals, from breakfast and afternoon tea to elegant weekend 'Rikyu' brunches; sake is a particular feature. Sibling to three London 'Kitchens' (Mayfair, Monmouth and Leicester Square).
Harden's survey result
Summary
Part of the Radisson occupying Manchester’s iconic Free Trade Hall, this fusion two-year-old occupies a glossily designed space on the ground floor with floor-to-ceiling windows; and is one of the ‘Kitchens’ run by London’s Edwardian group. Its unusual offer presents Japanese and Mexican small plates on separate menus, but – even if the prices are not bargain basement – all feedback is positive: “the food is so fresh, the tastes are clean and vibrant, I love it!”
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
