Closed since 2013, this island pub was taken over by the people behind The Sun Inn, Dedham and Church Street Tavern in Colchester, and opened as a 'pub with restaurant & rooms' in late Spring 2022. Non-residents can also visit for weekend breakfast (Fri-Sun, 8.15am – 9.45am, booking required).
