Harden's survey result
Summary
Named for an edible variety of seaweed, this spring 2022 newcomer is connected to a large (100 bedroom), new contemporary hotel on the coast – part of a waterside development which provides views from the dining room of Milford Marina. Chef Simon Crockford provides a brasserie-style menu (with dishes such as steak, salmon wellington, pork belly with celeriac and apple).
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
