The beautifully designed continental café restaurant is a feast for the eyes and offers something unique in Rainham, Kent. Winners of the 2021 Hospitality Business of the year and 2020 Café of the year for the Taste of Kent awards, Café Nucleus Rainham is a unique venue for brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and drinks. Whether you sit downstairs amongst the hustle and bustle of the café, to forget yourself upstairs in the quirky parlour, sit back and relax while taking in over 2000 wines display in the wine chamber, or enjoy the Mediterranean themed terrace. A coffee isn’t just a coffee… At Café Nucleus it’s an experience! From field, boat, herd or flock we at Café Nucleus work with our suppliers and our supply chain to ensure we deliver the very best produce from traceable origins. Working with local suppliers we source some fantastic products from our vegan cakes from Peck & Strong in Rural Devon to Kentish milk from Hinxden Farm Dairy.

An exclusive setting spread across three distinct dining rooms, The first floor parlour offers a plush Bougie experience, perfect for private dining. The Wine Chamber is perfect to admire our exquisite collection of wines and champagnes and the café restaurant offers an elegant and defined experience.  Our head chef, Sam Garnsworthy creates an exciting menu using the very best in-season Kentish produce. We work directly with small farms and suppliers to deliver the very best in-season Kentish and beyond produce. We are proud to source our steak from Hole Park Farm, Tenterden and all our meat from the award-winning S W Doughty in Doddington. 

Our evening Prix Fixe menu changes every 6 weeks, offering a true taste of Kent throughout the harvests
