Our reviews are based on an annual survey of ordinary diners which runs in Spring each year. But this establishment has not yet gathered enough feedback for our editors to write it up.

Do you think it deserves to be better known?

Write a quick review now using our restaurant diary service. That way it might catch our attention. Next survey, you can transfer your diary entry into our survey system. Everyone who contributes 5 or more reviews in our survey will qualify for a free guide.

For 34 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Sunday lunch here on a family trip to The C...

"Sunday lunch here on a family trip to The Cotswolds for my Mum's birthday. The 9 of us were seated in the private dining room which was just perfect for the last meal of the trip. Lovely atmosphere in the pub on a sunny early spring Sunday. Pub busy with what seemed a nice mix of locals and tourists. Created a nice buzz without being too packed. Sunday roast menu was excellent. Pork and leek scotch egg for starters was delicious. Mains were very generous for cooking of this quality and just what you want for Sunday lunch. My beef was a lovely perfect pink, perfect roasties & parsnip, celeriac puree, massive, light and crisp Yorkshire, greens and honey roasted carrot. A cut well above the normal Sunday pub roast but without too much more cost. Have to call out the fantastic, friendly service - very impressive. Likewise, the wine list. Interesting, varied and extremely fairly priced (You can also buy a bottle to take home.) To be recommended. Would love to go back to eat of an evening"
