Harden's survey result
Summary
“A real find” – this “outstanding small eats” spot has an open kitchen which sources its fish, seafood, beef, charcuterie, salad leaves, potatoes, pinot noir, rosé, beer, cider, gin, vodka, rum, soft drinks and more from Cornwall – “keep up the good work”, say fans, who apparently include Rick Stein!
Summary
A tranquil café on a pretty street that’s beloved by Rick Stein, who featured it in one of his many TV shows. Snack on home-baked cakes and biscuits, enjoy “lots of fish dishes” (including some “unusual options”) for lunch, or – by night – “amazing small plates served up from the small open kitchen” (you can sit at the bar for a particularly “great view” of the chefs at work).
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Source Kitchen Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Well cooked, but rather in your face flavouring taking away from the latent tasty, good quality core ingredients, Service was rather stilted, not at all sensitive and the atmosphere canteen-like despite the pretentious ambitions and pricing."
