Summary
“A lovely sunset evening and fish ’n’ chips” – what could be better? This “great value” beach shack and café (named for the locally caught prawns) overlooking the bay is just the job for its “great value” fodder. As well as seafood staples, they serve a good variety of pizzas and burgers.
Summary
This “shipping container with extensions serves simple but well-cooked food in a great location”, overlooking the bay. Named after the prawns caught in and around harbour during wintertime, the diner serves a straightforward menu of all-day breakfasts, seafood, pizzas and burgers.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
