Thai Restaurants in Reigate
1.
Patara
Thai restaurant in Wimbledon
18 High St - SW19
For “a more upmarket Thai experience”, head to the branches of Khun Patara Sila-On’s “very pleasant” group (which is over 30 years old, with branches from Asia to Europe). “Well-presented flavoursome dishes” from “good-quality ingredients” are provided by staff who “always seem happy to see you”.
2.
Thai Tho
Thai restaurant in
20 High St - SW19
This “good-quality local Thai favourite” is “no more expensive than an average takeaway” and fans claim “you won’t find better quality for the money anywhere in Wimbledon”. “Staff, predominantly family, are amazing and welcoming, with time for everyone”; and “during the tennis, this place comes alive with fans, players, pundits, coaches… all packed in”. (A sister restaurant in Soho inspires no feedback).
3.
Kaosarn
Thai restaurant in Tooting
181 Tooting High Street - SW17
“Consistent and authentic Thai food” earns a shout-out for this low-key, family-run trio, in Brixton, Battersea and Tooting. Prices are reasonable and the ability to BYO in each location is a further boost to the value of a meal.
4.
Rosa's Thai Cafe
Thai restaurant in Wandsworth
70 Tooting High Street - SW17
2021 Review: The “lovely Thai food” at these reliable cafés is “impressively authentic given that they are a chain” – “excellent value” and “fast”, if occasionally let down by “iffy service”. Founded in 2008 by Saiphin and Alex Moore, who inherited the name of their first East End site, the group has 18 branches in London and expanded to Liverpool, Manchester, Reading (delivery only) and Leeds following the sale of a majority stake to US investors. The couple also have two spin-offs, Lao Café in Covent Garden and the new Chinese noodle bar Hoh Sek in St Katharine Docks.
