Within serving distance of the Wimbledon tennis complex (which thousands of fans pass on their way from Southfields station), this “great local coffee shop” is a champion of the indie coffee scene, with a themed menu of breakfast and brunch goodies (‘The Smash’ avocado on toast; ‘The Rafa Na-dill’ smoked salmon with dill creme fraiche; ‘The Grand Slam’ Turkish eggs). Putney-born founder Ed Savitt now has offshoots in Putney and Wimbledon.
