The family team behind Mirabell Café has opened a new wine bar on Hammersmith Road, not far from Kensington Olympia. Mirabell Wine Bar focuses on fine cheese and wine, with 35-covers inside and 16 al fresco tables for when (if!) the fine weather arrives.
There’s a range of bottles from carefully chosen Old and New World wineries, as well as craft British beers and a small selection of spirits. Artisan cheeses and charcuterie lead the food menu: Oveja Negra Manchego cheese with Quince Jelly on Sourdough Toast and board of Italian Artisan Cured Meat with Piccalilli.
Guests can sample a tasting set, or enjoy vino by the glass and bottle, with wines such as 2014 La Muse de Cabestany Pinot Noir IGP Pays D’Oc Celliers Jean D’Alibert offered by the glass. Open from 5pm to 11pm Tuesday to Saturday.
