We feel, as do many of our reporters, that when it comes to the quest for great pizza there’s still no substitute for Franco Manca’s Brixton market original. But, that said, there’s certainly no shortage of eager customers flitting to their other outposts as the mushrooming Neopolitan chain announces further expansion with sites coming soon to Covent Garden and Earls Court.

The 80-cover, Maiden Lane, Covent Garden branch is anticipated in July, while the 64-cover Earls Court Road restaurant is expected to open in early October.

This takes the number of sites for the expanding brand to 15 in total, and comes just after its opening in London’s Belsize Park. According to Caterer & Hotelkeeper the group has confirmed that it is hoping to expand further across the capital, as well as outside London.
