A new £3m vegan restaurant, bar and roof terrace will open in Leeds this summer.
Called the Green Room, the plant-based site is the work of Will Habergham and PJ Gardner, who have a background in nightlife and leisure.
The restaurant space will feature a 1,500 sq ft roof terrace for remote working, pop-up markets, and other events.
The bar and restaurant below will have an all day menu. Dishes will include salads, Asian-inspired bowls, vegan burgers, and pizzas.
Developers All Property Management has invested £3m in transforming the site, where work began in November 2020, The Caterer first reported.
“The rooftop terrace is our USP, and due to Covid, outdoor spaces are vitally more important,” said Habergham.
“The terrace’s size not only allows people to sit comfortably in an outdoor space but also allows to put any future social distance measures in place.
“By day the terrace will make the perfect setting for people who need a relaxed environment to work from, brunches, lunches, and by night the perfect setting for after-work cocktails and sunset music led events.”
