Nobu has launched a new Japanese street food dining concept at its Shoreditch hotel.
‘Nami’ will be a casual, all-day spot with dishes ranging between £7 and £18. The food will be Japanese in theme.
The menu features the likes of 24-hour slow-cooked confit fries soaked in Dashi soup stock and fried twice, and sweet treats including Kakigori Strawberry – which sees a traditional Japanese shaved ice dessert given a thoroughly British twist with fresh strawberries and cream, served with shimmering, edible gold leaf.
Nami will also serve cocktails and will open late for DJs sets on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Let’s hope Nami proves more appealing than Nobu’s main offeringNob, which many consider to be a bit pricey.
