Those yearning for a taste of the 80s, 90s and noughties head to Le Caprice, which is celebrating 35 years in business this month. You’ll find bang bang chicken, eggs Arlington, salmon fishcake, butternut squash & zucchini risotto, Scandinavian iced berry’s with hot white chocolate sauce and banana sticky toffee pudding are all making a come-back. Throughout January, if you prefer a glass of champagne with your three course classic menu, a glass will cost the 80s price of just £3.50 (125ml).

In January, up to the beginning of February, Caprice Holdings are offering 35% off the food from the à la carte menu at both Rivington Grill sites. The offer is on for lunch and dinner from Monday to Friday and the weekend brunch menu Saturday and Sunday in Shoreditch and lunch from Monday to Friday in Greenwich.

As January is a month when people need a little comfort food, 34 Mayfair has created a seasonal two and three course set menu, with a carafe of wine thrown in for good measure. Available Monday-Friday, noon-7 pm, diners can enjoy two courses for £24.50 and three courses for £27.50.
Set menu: £27 (2 courses) or £29 (3 courses) with a cocktail on arrival.
Head to this iconic Indian, which recently underwent a swish refurb’, to sample Vivek Singh and head chef Rakesh Nair’s modern Indian cooking at a fraction of the price. Valid Monday-Saturday, enjoy the set menu for £27 (2 courses) or £29 (3 courses) including a cocktail, which can be booked between noon-12.45 pm; 6-6.30 pm and 9.30 pm onwards. If you’re waiting till January to have your Christmas do, book a lunch at The Cinnamon Club and the restaurant will waive the minimum spend, or enjoy a complimentary round of prosecco (minimum 20 guests) during an evening do.

In January Dalston’s hot new spot for Caribbean food and cocktails, Rudie’s, will be hosting “Jerk Monday” – with 50% off jerk chicken. It’s just £12 for a whole bird and £6.75 for half.

This bustling pizza and salad chain has two exclusive deals on across its London sites (Holborn, The City, Canary Wharf, Bishopsgate) for the whole of January. There’s unlimited prosecco and gourmet stone baked pizza’s from 6-8pm, for just £25, on Monday 11, 18 and 25 January. And Rocket is also offering 30% off the total food bill when you have dinner there (from 5 pm onwards) in January, just bring a receipt from the last time you dined at Rocket to redeem the offer.

For £10 diners can feast on a Butternut squash and chickpea stew with chestnut or chorizo, E5 Bakehouse sourdough and a glass of house wine.
