Burger joint Haché will launch its fifth London site this Christmas, with a 70-cover operation in Balham. The small group – which outstrips its larger rivals for quality, according to our annual survey – already has sites in Camden (pictured), Chelsea, Clapham and Shoreditch.

Haché’s latest restaurant will occupy the former home of Meze Kitchen and will be the group’s second new restaurant in two years, following the Shoreditch launch in February 2013.
