After launching a second outpost in Whitechapel last year Soho spot Foxcroft & Ginger has opened another East London restaurant – this time a pop-up at Old Street station. The temporary cafe, which will be open for three months, arrived in trendy Shoreditch on 6 April and serves the UK’s first Cruffin (a croissant muffin hybrid).
Foxcroft & Ginger will offer ‘food to go’ such as hand-made baked goods, sourdough sandwiches and salads. A non-stop, 24-hour bakery operation is in place at the Soho and Whitechapel sites to create the unique sourdough, which is based on a secret family formula is also available to purchase in store.
