Tom Harris and Jon Rotheram – alumni of such noble institutions as St John hotel (now One Leicester Street), Nobu and Fifteen – are hoping to set up an ambitious Hackney gastropub… with your money, if you wish.
Their aim is to purchase a freehold public house and dining room through personal investment, crowd funding and capital raised via the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS). Total cost £2.5 million, including £100,000 of their own money.
We’re not money men, but that seems a big ask – couldn’t you set up in the West End for that sort of dosh?
