Spice Cream Parlour launches today (9 June) in “elegant” City Indian Cinnamon Kitchen’s bar Anise – serving frozen cocktails, boozy shakes, decadent ice cream sandwiches and fizzy kulfi pops. This Indian twist on an ice cream parlour will pop-up on the restaurant’s al-fresco terrace (in Devonshire Square) until the end of July.
Choose from a selection of frozen or shaken cocktails (all £8) including sweet serves like the Cinnamonilla (rum, cinnamon and mango); The Ginger Snap (gin, fresh galangal, ginger and pineapple); or The Spice Queen (lime-infused vodka, black pepper, chilli sugar and mango). Dip and sip with a new selection of ice-cream dippers with Kulfi sticks accompanied by a glass of Prosecco (£11.50). Choose between the Mango Sparkler or the Pistachio-colada.
Non-alcoholic shakes (£4) are also available, and a daily-changing selection of ice-cream and sorbets. The Cinnamon Parlour will pop-up Monday-Friday from midday and Saturday from 6 pm until 31 July.
