D&D London is heading to Bristol to launch a restaurant and events venue in the city’s Cabot Circus shopping centre.
The 13,000sq ft space will feature a restaurant, bars, private dining areas, and an outdoor terrace, all set within an 18th century friary building.
The development again sees D&D team up with Hammerson, which the group worked with to open Issho and East 59th in Leeds in 2017.
Des Gunewardena, chairman and CEO of D&D London, told Big Hospitality of the news: “Following our Leeds openings and most recently the launch of our rooftop restaurant 20 Stories in Manchester, our Cabot Circus venture in Bristol reflects our continuing commitment to expansion in the UK outside of London.”
D&D and Harden’s reporters have long had a somewhat troubled relationship. That said, its recent openings have been fairly well received, and the group’s aforementioned attempts to focus on restaurants outside of London are admirable and quite brave.
The company now has 42 restaurants worldwide.
