The Standard hotel will welcome the return of its ground floor restaurant Isla on September 30, complete with a new menu and drinks list and a redesigned garden terrace.
The new menu is focused on “seasonal, light and flavourful dishes with a particular emphasis on seafood”.
There will be sharers such as Scallop XO and Mussels, ‘nduja and sweet potatoes, aged feta and sesame, and larger plates such as whole lemon sole with seaweed butter and Ikejime trout with salsa verde.
Isla’s wine list is a broad selection of minimal intervention wines, being both “explorative but accessible”.
