For uninhibited views of the fireworks display, why not try Sky Garden at the top of the Walkie Talkie. It vaunts two restaurants (Darwin Brasserie and Fenchurch) and a bar (Sky Pod) that provide some of the best vistas in town.
Sky Pod – £150 pp
Enjoy mesmerising 360 degree views over London while listening to nine-piece band, The Soul Jets, and quaffing a glass of champagne for a midnight toast. Tickets are priced at £150 and group bookings will also enjoy a personal host and private area.
Darwin Brasserie – £125 pp
Rather dine than dance? Head to Darwin on floor 36 and sit down to a four-course dinner and half a bottle of champagne. On the menu: Cornish mackerel with warm potato and saffron salad with oyster cream; mains featuring venison haunch with braised red cabbage, quince and juniper jus; and warm chestnut cake. Groups of 18 can enjoy front row seats on the chef’s table for £225 pp.
Fenchurch – £195 pp
For fine dining at Sky Garden book a place at Fenchurch on level 37 and enjoy a five-course menu featuring dishes of Highland game ragout; Cornish turbot; loin of venison; and glazed peanut and Amadei chocolate bar with banana yoghurt ice-cream. Serving both an early and late sitting with half a bottle of champagne per person. Guests for the later service will gain exclusive access to a viewing balcony for the fireworks display. Wine pairings are available for an additional £75 pp.
Vinoly Room – £8,000
Or if you’d rather avoid the crowds, Sky Garden offers a private dining room with spectacular views of the city. The Vinoly Room seats up to sixteen people who can enjoy a bespoke wine pairing menu. The minimum spend is £8,000 though, so make sure your 15 friends have deep pockets!

What? Was it Colonel Mustard in the conservatory with a candlestick? Or Mrs Peacock with the lead pipe in the study? Say farewell to 2015 while solving the ultimate murder mystery at Village East’s Cluedo New Year’s Eve Party. Each room at the venue has been styled to recreate Cluedo’s Tudor Mansion. Guests will receive a game card each upon arrival, before they sit down to a four-course feast. Clues will be handed out by Village East detectives throughout the night, and you need to use your sleuthing skills to determine who dunnit.

Camden’s New Year’s Eve Bash is a Tarantino Special, featuring soundtracks with cuts from Tarantino’s cult movies, plus live bands and fancy dress in town. In Shoreditch, The Blues Brothers Special will see dancing nuns, an Illinois county jail photo-booth, best dressed prizes, and live bands performing the soundtrack. Brixton will ring in the New Year with Brassroots and DJs spinning vintage funk, soul and rock ‘n’ roll until the small hours.

What? Brand-new Italian eno-gastronomia, Il Cudega, is taking a typically authentic approach to their very first festive season with a selection of traditional Italian food from Lombardy. On New Year’s Eve they will host a fabulous eight-course supper club with matching wines including a selection of Lombardy charcuterie and cheeses, Polenta Concia with hot butter and melted Fontal cheese, Risotto al Salto (sautéed saffron risotto with porcini mushrooms), Scarpinacc (special filled ravioli from Bergamo), Cotechino, lentils and potato puree, sorbet, Pandoro (traditional NYE cake) and Grolla (coffee and grappa drank from traditional wooden goblet).
