Chef Ben Spalding will launch a rather tasty sounding series of dinners next month with some big name chefs from around the world. #AllGunsBlazing starts on 31 May at 4th Floor studios on Commercial Road, Shoreditch. The line up sounds impressive:
Paul Foster – former head chef at Mallory Court, he is due to launch his own venture Salt in Warwickshire after a successful crowd-funding campaign (31 May & 1 June).
Graham Garrett – from The West House in Biddenden (28 & 29 June).
Ernst Van Zyl – chef/patron of The Lord Clyde, Bollington, and The Knot Inn, Rushton Spencer (2 & 3 August).
Michael Wignall – formerly head chef at Pennyhill Park’s Latymer restaurant and now filling Michael Caines’s shoes at Gidleigh Park in Chagford (30 August & 1 September).
Mikael Svensson from Restaurant Kontrast, Oslo, Norway (4 & 5 October)
Adam Simmonds – ex-Pavilion (now the Ivy Kensington Brasserie) and Marlow’s Danesfield House chef who has plans for his own London restaurant in 2017 (1 & 2 November).
Dinners range between £79-£89 per guest for 10 courses, and for the first two events there will be an introductory offer – buy 6 tickets, get 2 free. As well as a 10 course menu created by each chef and dishes created in collaboration with Ben, there will be a changing wine list from Bibendum and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails.
Tickets are available now. Email book@allguns-blazing.com to book.
