The fourth edition of Art16 kicks off at Olympia London later this month, bringing together 100 galleries from over 30 countries and presenting more than 1,000 artworks from 20-22 May (preview 19 May).
For 2016, Art16 welcomes a residency by restaurateurs Corbin & King featuring three of their most celebrated restaurants: a trans-Atlantic menu from The Colony Grill (Thursday 19 and Friday 20 May), modern European and British classics from The Wolseley (Saturday 21 May), and mittel-European-inspired cuisine from The Delaunay (Sunday 22 May).
Dishes from The Colony Grill will include: Sea Trout with Samphire, Jersey Royals and Beurre Blanc, and Minted Pea and Bavarian Blue Risotto. On The Wolseley’s menu: Chopped Liver with Pickled Cucumber, Smoked Haddock Monte Carlo and The Wolseley Fruit Crumble. And fans of The Delaunay can enjoy: Traditional Pierogies with Paprika Butter, Guinea Fowl Paprikashand Cherry Scheiterhaufen.
A Saturday and Sunday afternoon tea offer will feature: Fruit Scones with Strawberry Jam and Clotted Cream from The Wolseley, and Poppy Seed Gugelhupf with Apricot Jam and Whipped Cream at The Delaunay, both served with a choice of teas including Afternoon Blend, English Breakfast, Assam, Ceylon, and Fresh Mint.
