You’ve read all our news and reviews of Edinburgh’s best restaurants, now here’s your chance to try one for yourself. Harden’s has teamed up with celebrated chef Tony Singh to offer a three course dinner for two and a bottle of wine at his new West Linton restaurant, The Old Bakehouse.
Situated in a picture-perfect village just a short drive from Edinburgh city centre, The Old Bakehouse brings an Asian twist to traditional Scottish fare – like Tony’s pakora stuffed with ‘neeps and haggis. As well as curries on the main menu there’s game pie and fish and steaks cooked on the Josper grill. Desserts are a real highlight, with tipsy laird cake (served with Jura single malt whisky) and liquid dessert pudding cocktails.
